Remuneration Tribunal
The Remuneration Tribunal is an independent statutory body established under the Assembly Members and Statutory Officers (Remuneration and Other Entitlements) Act 2006.
They inquire into the:
- remuneration and
- entitlements of key Northern Territory (NT) office holders.
These include reports and determinations tabled in the NT Legislative Assembly.

- Member Mr Gary Higgins.

Entitlements of Assembly members
On 3 May 2024, the Tribunal began its inquiry into the entitlements of members of the Legislative Assembly for 2024.
Submissions close on 31 May 2024.
Entitlements of Local Court judges
On 24 May 2024, the Tribunal began its inquiry into the entitlements of Local Court judges for 2024.
Submissions close on 28 June 2024.
Entitlements of members of Local Councils
The Tribunal concluded its inquiry into the entitlements for members of Local Councils for 2023.
Entitlements of members of Local Authorities
The Tribunal concluded its inquiry into the entitlements for members of Local Councils for 2023.
