Burial and Cremation Act 2022

The Burial and Cremation Act 2022 and Burial and Cremation Regulations 2022 commenced on 28 November 2022.

The new legislation replaces the Cemeteries Act 1952 and Cemeteries Regulations 1967. To find out what changes were made to the legislation, go to the Northern Territory Government website.
