Territory Regions sets a clear direction for regional delivery
Territory Regions has strengthened its teams, developed a new Service Charter and established a two-year Strategic Delivery Plan, setting a clear direction for delivering stronger, safer and thriving regions.
With teams based in Alice Springs (Central Australia), Tennant Creek (Barkly), Katherine (Big Rivers), Nhulunbuy (East Arnhem) and Darwin (Top End), Territory Regions helps translate government priorities into practical outcomes for local communities.
General Manager Jim Rogers said the new Service Charter centres on four elements: Lead, Connect, Inform and Deliver. These guide how Territory Regions provides strategic advice, builds partnerships, shares regional insights and supports effective service delivery.
The two-year Strategic Delivery Plan backs this approach with a program of work focussing on Government priorities, including support for the Aboriginal Affairs Framework and the Regional Economic Development Framework.
Territory Regions is focused on strengthening regional capability, improving business processes and making it easier for government agencies to work together.
By bringing local knowledge into government decision-making, Territory Regions helps shape policies and services that respond to regional challenges and unlock opportunities for communities across the Territory.
